Lincoln Centre, NYC

The first time I walked into Lincoln Centre (to see the 50th Anniversary performance of Twyla Tharp’s choreography), I was so enthralled by the lobby’s architecture, it was hard to tear myself away to see the performance (and I love dance!). There is a definite 60’s feel to the metal grillwork inside the hall, the hanging lanterns on the outside balconies; the whole effect leaves you standing in the middle of the room, mouth hanging open in child-like enrapture. Love it!
